Please join us at the Rec Hall parking area at Harrison Bay State Park for an evening of astronomical observations with visual telescopes, Electronically-Assisted scopes and monitors, and just looking up with our eyes!

Basic information for the May 9, 2026 Harrison Bay Star Party:

  • Sunset: 8:33 pm

  • Moon: 52.8% Last Quarter - no Moon tonight

  • BAS Set-Up: 7:00-8:00 pm

  • Guest Arrival: 7:30 pm

  • Deep Sky Targets: It is galaxy season! Plus other celestial objects like globular clusters and nebula.

  • Planets: Jupiter and Venus

The nature of these events means they are weather-dependent. Updates posted between 2:00 and 3:00 pm.
