Please join us for a free family-friendly public event at the beautiful McCoy Farm and Gardens located on Signal Mountain on the evening of August 12 for a Perseids Meteor Shower watch party. Bring a blanket or comfortable chair for looking up!

Sunset is around 8:30 PM so please arrive before then to get situated. The BAS will be bringing displays and information about meteor showers. The primary goals is to view the night sky with just your eyes but the BAS will be bringing a few telescopes as well.

There is plenty of parking in the gravel parking lot and the viewing area is an open field located directly next to the lot.
