Did you receive a new telescope for the holidays or recently purchased one to get into this exciting hobby but need a little help? Or are you just interested in information about telescopes or even astrophotography?

This “new” telescope workshop was originally scheduled with Outdoor Chattanooga at their at Coolidge Park facility on Jan 24 but we have now moved it to Harrison Bay State Park on Saturday February 14 between 2-5 PM. This is right before our regularly scheduled monthly star party. We will have access to the Rec Hall next to the parking lot as a contingency for weather. See our location page for more details. This workshop is an open, walk-in style public event.

We will however be continuing our partnership with Outdoor Chattanooga, which may include another telescope workshop late spring/early summer. So, keep an eye out for more events on down the road with this fantastic local organization!
